Please introduce yourself, give us a quick bio, tell us about your background, and how you got started in the design industry.

I’m a graphic designer from Melbourne Australia first started drawing from when i was 6 and still haven’t took the pen out of my hand and now transferred my skills to a digital platform were i have Been doing it for the past 4 years and I’m still picking up new skills along the way learning many different styles and trying to create my own and my first for knowledge is one that never goes away No matter how much i take in that is why i love doing collaborations with other talented people To learn there take on design and learn off that foundation to create a major outcome and to me remembered for what i have done . so i come in this designers battle field armed with my sketch book in one hand and my camera I’m the other fighting to survive this colorful war. My inspirations come in the works of fatoe and tksh and all the major designers of the KDU There all talented people i have a lot of respect for all of them.

What is your process when designing? do you plan and sketch out the concept first or do you build it as you go?

I draw all my work on paper first as a blue print to get what I want out of it.

Do you find you approach personal projects different from client project?

yes you have to because when its client work its no longer your mental image its there’s.

Around how much time would you say you spend when working on one of your pieces?

The Hours that go in to them , I spend around 10 hours straight on them , then If i didn’t like the outcome then I spent around 6 hours straight changing it, overall it was about 20 hours of work with all the revisions.

Where do you source your (stock) images when doing your designs?

www.shutterstock.com they’re the best and i take my own.

What would you say are your strengths and weaknesses as a digital artists?

My strengths would have to be my imagination to think of something and then do it but my down side is im still learning and i have a long way to go to execute what i want 100%.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Right here looking at my pc screen :) Hopefully god willing I would have mastered Photoshop and other platform skills.

What you need to do is build a powerful portfolio and go out in full force you will make it and trial and error is not a bad thing.
